Compliance status

During the audit the following points were highlighted.

The Cookiebot logo in the cookies message is announced as “logo, opens in a new window”, which isn’t clear or useful.

We will work with the provider on this issue and aim to provide an update by March 2025.

1.3.1 Info and Relationships

On mobile, the filters on the events and advice and guidance pages are not implemented correctly:

We will aim to fix this issue by March 2025.

1.4.10 Reflow

At high levels of zoom the main menu reflows to a hamburger menu, but at over 200% the menu items either overlap with the search bar or are lost off the bottom of the screen and cannot be reached.

On the contact page, there is a dropdown for selecting the reason for the contact. On mobile the text in this is truncated.

We aim to fix this by March 2025.

1.4.11 Non-text Contrast

The visible focus indicators on the radio buttons in the cookies message have insufficient colour contrast against the unfocused state.

We will work with the provider on this issue and aim to provide an update by March 2025.

2.4.3 Focus Order

There are three issues with the focus order on the site:

There are also issues with the carousel elements on the homepage, where everything in the carousel is included in the focus order, not just the visible panels.

We aim to fix this by March 2025.

4.1.2 Name, Role, Value

The pagination buttons on the advice and guidance page are not announced clearly – they are just “one”, “two” etc.

When the desktop version is resized to mobile, the filter buttons on the events and the advice and guidance pages are just announced as “blank”.

We aim to fix this by March 2025.
