In July 2023 West Yorkshire hosted a delegation of senior representatives from leading Indian hospital groups alongside the British High Commission in India and the Department for Business & Trade as part of their UK tour.
The Indian delegation was treated to a fantastic showcase of UK Health Tech offerings and capabilities in areas such as Digital Health, MedTech, education and training, oncology and diabetes.
The delegation visited Leeds and heard about the world-leading expertise and organisations in West Yorkshire. The delegation met with senior NHS officials, key opinion leaders, and key regional business stakeholders in the Health & Life Sciences sector.
The insightful roundtable discussion explored opportunities to transform healthcare and improve patient outcomes, in an engaging and collaborative knowledge exchange.
